VMI MyCitations - Google Scholar has recently introduced the "My Citations" service, allowing author profiles to be connected with your publications. The author profile website, while extremly useful and valuable, is not optimized for mobile devices.
The VMI My Citations app shows a Google Scholar My Citations author profile, optimized for mobile usage and provides you with an intuitive user interface on the data.
The most important statistics informations are downloaded in real time from the internet, including h-index, i-index and your overall citation count.
Just copy & paste the URL from the browser to the app and view your stats, mobile and on the go. The URL can be entered upon the first run or via the preferences menu.
This app is a "must have" for the egocentric scientist or the mobile academic. :)
In research and teaching, we (the Distributed Multimodal Information Processing Group) work on topics such as Mobile and Ubiquitous Computing (UbiComp), Intelligent Environments (IE), pervasive and mobile computing (PMC), human-computer interaction (HCI), human-robot interaction (HRI), automotive user interfaces (AUI), vehicle-to-x communication (V2X) and multimodal information processing.
