SpaceLeft -Monitoring free space on the flash card.
Windows CE itself does not provide the functionality to show the amount of free space in flash memory area (Note: I noticed that this is not true with H/PC pro and Pocket PC. Written on Jul 11, 2000). Instead, several software provides this functionality. However, I did not feel comfortable with any of them. Some of them require relatively big amount of storage area to be installed and relatively big amount of memory to be executed. The others provides more features than I needed.
Thus I developed this SpaceLeft to meet my own request. Though it just provides very simple function to show the amount of free space in your flash memory, it is very small, very light weight and is provided as a free software!
The following are the features of SpaceLeft.
Very simple, very light weight
This program focuses on showing the amount of free space, thus the executable file is just over 10KB.
This does not have extra features such as residing in the task tray and so on, and the fact makes this software very small.
Usage ratio of storage is shown visually
Configurable card folder name
SpaceLeft can be used even in the case the folder names which represent memory cards are other than 'Storage Card' or 'Storage Card2'. Localized version of Windows CE may require this configuration.
SpaceLeft is a free software. License condition is written in a distributed file. Read the condition before using the SpaceLeft.
