HackFinder - Hacks are little pieces of code that replace or extend functions of the PalmOS.
Usually hacks should be managed by a hackmanager like HackMaster or X-Master, but sometimes they patch the system by themselves, possibly risking conflicts with other hacks/ applications.

To help determine whether an application installs a hack, I have written this little application called HackFinder.
It will scan all installed applications for code that installs a hack and will create a report listing these applications along with the PalmOS API call they replace/extend.

Keep Lit Hack Keep Lit Hack is a Hackmaster extension that will maintain the backlight state when a user's Palm handheld is turned off.
This is especially useful for m505 owners who want the backlight on nearly all of the time
FlipHack FlipHack is a HackMaster hack for PalmOS that lets you rotate your screen 90, 180, and 270 degrees (and continue using your device).
There is some slowdown, but it is usable.

Hoshi Takanori has released a DA to activate FlipHack from any application (using a DA launcher). It's called FlipDA
CradLit Hack CradLit Hack - This is a very simple hack.
It just turns on the backlight when the device is placed in the cradle, and off when the device is removed.
After placing it in or out of the cradle, the backlight will behave normally.
It may be fooled by modems and other serial devices that attach where the cradle attaches
Two Key On Hack Two Key On Hack makes it so your Palm will only turn on when the contrast button is pressed, so you have to press the contrast button plus another button.
This is a very simple way to overcome the problem of your Palm V turning on in your pocket
Graffiti Anywhere Graffiti Anywhere - Graffiti Anywhere allows you to use the Graffiti recognition system anywhere on the screen.
Press and hold the datebook hard button and stroke directly on the screen.
As in the Graffiti area, stroke letters on left side and digits on right side.
It really improves your Graffiti accuracy
BackLight Info Hack BackLight Info Hack - I found that I can hardly find out if the backlight is on or off under strong light.
So I wrote this stupid software in order to save battery.
Just put it here in case anyone also need it.
I just tested it on my Palm m505. So use at your own risk
SortingHack SortingHack - This hack addresses a problem with the sorting in the Pilot.
Some characters used in the Nordic languages are not handled properly, i.e., they are not sorted in the proper order in the AddressBook for instance.
This hack fixes this problem for Danish, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish
C4 C4 is a small freeware which allows you to change your Palm password without knowing the old password
AsciiPop DA AsciiPop DA is a desk accessory that opens a pop-up window with a full ASCII chart.
Must be used in conjunction with a Desk Accessory launcher.
To use:
Use the up/down buttons, or tap the up/down icons to switch between the two screens of characters.
Tap on the desired character.
If you tap 'Okay', the chosen charactor is copied to the clipboard

ResetEmu ResetEmu - The PalmOS primarily notifies applications of important global events by sending so called launch codes.
The mostcommon launch code is sysAppLaunchCmdNormalLaunch whichtells an application that it should start running.
