VILSafe is a fully customisable and comprehensive personal information application, to store and manage critical information about your credit cards, bank accounts, calling cards, web IDs, usernames, passwords, PINs, etc. for quick and easy recall on your PalmOS handheld. All your information is stored in a highly secure and encrypted format, to prevent unauthorised users from accessing your personal data. The application also comes with a PC-desktop companion which allows quick and easy synchronisation of your personal data with your PalmOS handheld, thereby keeping all changes current and up-to-date on both platforms.
Customisation: Record Types and Categories are fully customisable by the user, including the supplied templates; hence, the user has full flexibility to make the application display all types of personal data in customised formats.
Security: Password protection to launch the application, using Blowfish encryption, keeps user personal data extremely safe and secure, even if the handheld happens to fall into the wrong hands.
Synchronisation: Full synchronisation of personal data can be done between the handheld and desktop, using the supplied conduit/desktop companion.
Masking: Individual fields can be selectively masked or unmasked by the user, to prevent prying eyes from viewing the same; thereby ensuring further security of the user's valuable data.
Icons: Colour and grey-scale icons are included and support most PalmOS handheld devices. All items can be assigned a unique icon, from a large variety of supplied icons, to provide the user quick visual access to personal records.
Sorting: Records can also be sorted by any field, to speed up visual access to user records of a particular type.
