Tiler is a game for Windows Phone 7 where the player is facing a web of tiles and when one of them lights up, he must press it in time. If he suceeds, points are added to his score total
and if he does so multiple times in a row, the multiplier increases. If he fails, the tile shuts down and the multiplier is reset. At the beginning of each game only one tile will light up at a
time and it will be lit for a relatively long time, but the more the player progresses into the game, more tiles will light up at a time and the time in which each of them is lit will be increasingly shorter. Therefore, the difficulty rises from very easy to extremely challenging.
The style of the game is retro minimalistic and the game is accompanied by an equally minimalistic music and sound design, making Tiler an audio-visual experience. The goal of the game is to achieve as many points as possible and the player can repeat the game as many times as is necessary to break that high score. Tiler is therefore a very competitive game.
The game fully uses multi-touch technology of Windows Phone 7 smartphones as the player must press multiple tiles at a time. The concept of Tiler is very simple and intuitive so anyone can pick it up and play. The game is suited for every Windows Phone 7 user that wants a bit of relaxation while perfecting his reflexes and the higher score the player wants to break, increasingly more practice is required, making Tiler a lasting experience.
