Cryptor is a PIM (Personal Information Manager), it allows you to store confidential informations, by categories, in an encrypted database.
It implements an extended version of the Tiny Encryption Algorithm (TEA), which uses a 128 bits key to encipher the data you have entered. As soon as you save the record, it is enciphered in the database.
The database is automaticaly backed-up to your desktop, to save you efforts in case of data loss on the PDA.
You can define as many keys as you want for different contents
The main list allows bi-dimensional filtering by type category, icons, 1 or 2 lines per record, each line containing 1 or 2 fields, and a note icon.
From the main list, you can edit, copy, delete, move, drag and export any record.
You can also import and export whole categories to Memo Pad, change any key you want and sort records alphabetically, and reverse alphabetically.
You can define different types of record entry form. These templates can contain from 1 to 6 fields, an icon and control on what will be displayed on the main screen.
Preferences include: a watchdog (to look after unattended PDA's), the control of font, number of lines displayed per record, and access control behaviour (deny or allow access when wrong key is entered).
Color enabled, but will work happily with a black and white OS higher than 2.0.
Can be personalised through Themes available from the author's page on PalmGear HQ.
Both the English and the French versions are available in the archive.
