SecretAgent Mobile -
SecretAgent Mobile is the premier file encryption and digital signature utility for your handheld. This application makes protecting your sensitive files as easy as composing an e-mail message. FIPS 140-1 validated encryption and digital signature algorithms (together with ANSI standard certificate-based key management) ensure the confidentiality and authenticity of your most important data, whether its "at rest" on your handheld device or being transmitted to another system.

Encrypted Archive

Create a new "encrypted archive" just as you create a new e-mail message:
- select "recipients" (yourself and others to whom you grant decryption rights)
- enter text into the "message body" (this is optional)
- add file attachments (also optional)
When you Save the archive, the message body and all file attachments are encrypted for the specified list of recipients (and your original plaintext files are optionally securely erased). One or more encrypted archives can be used to protect sensitive information stored locally on your handheld device, or you can transmit encrypted archives to other SecretAgent users for decryption on any supported platform.
Any designated recipient can open an encrypted archive on their Pocket PC by simply entering their private password. The contents of an open archive are displayed using a message window similar to that used by Inbox. You may read and/or edit a "message body," or open an attachment in its associated Windows application. If you change the archive in any way, SecretAgent Mobile will allow you to re-encrypt and/or re-sign it (while preserving its original list of recipients) when you Save it.
Sharing Sensitive Data
Users can easily send encrypted and/or signed archives as e-mail attachments or beam them to other Pocket PC users. Archives created using SecretAgent Mobile are fully compatible with SecretAgent on other platforms (including all Microsoft Windows desktop systems, Linux and most popular UNIX-based systems, and Mac OS X).

Simplified Certificate Management
Besides managing individual certificates, the new Certificate Explorer module allows you to save (and later modify) commonly used groups of recipient certificates to make encrypting your data for several "communities of interest" as simple as possible.
Key History Support
SecretAgent Mobile maintains a history of your private keys and automatically applies the correct key to decrypt each archive whenever you enter your secret password.
Security Policy Enforcement
An organization that issues Pocket PCs to their employees can now impose on their SecretAgent Mobile users the same PolicyAgent security policy that is imposed on their other SecretAgent users. In particular, administrators can ensure that their mobile users:
• only use approved symmetric and public key algorithms
• receive a uniform set of default settings (including default archive type, preset RDN values for self-signed certificate generation, password strength requirements, etc.)
• and (optionally) use a standard set of authorized key recovery agent certificates
NOTE: The latest build of SecretAgent Mobile runs on Pocket PC 2003 (Windows Mobile 2003 First Edition), Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition, and Windows Mobile 5. However, a different build is required for devices still using Pocket PC 2002. Before ordering, be sure to check which version of Windows is running on your handheld device.
