How Diet and Exercise Planner Works
Setup your personal information by tapping File>Setup Personal Information…. This information is used to calculate your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR). The BMR is the rate at which your body burns calories in the absence of exercise. If you were to lie in bed all day, you would burn whatever your BMR is. Your BMR depends on genetics, muscle mass, and a number of other factors. The software uses Harris-Benedict equation to calculate your BMR.
Setup your goals by tapping File>Set Your Goals…. This information will help the Diet and Exercise Planner to guide you toward your diet and weight goal.
