Earth-Lock slider lock Trial ... slide to unlock - Slide-lock for touch and non-touch phones. Moving star field, and orbiting moon for clock seconds. Swipe left or right to simply unlock. Swipe down to stop locking until finished with the app you're currently using; if you switch to other apps briefly, the temporary lock suspension will remain. Swipe up for settings, where you can easily disable locking by default for the current app and other apps. However, you'll probably want to leave locking on for most apps by default! That automatically prevents touch and key input from registering while the phone is in your pocket. Quickly and easily unlock! Touch response is light and quick, with little or no lag.
When Earth-Locked, backlight turns off more quickly than your default setting to conserve battery; you can click to see the time and date, and the phone will turn back off in several seconds. When plugged in, it stays on longer, but not long enough to affect charging time.
Notifications are shown on the Earth-Lock screen if you have OS 6 or 7. The simple default battery meter is replaced with the color-shifting "energy droplets" meter from the Graphical Menu Clock. As power gets lower through the day, the five droplets change gradually from green through yellow and orange to red, and also change to bubbles and move over, so you can read the meter if you're colorblind.
