English Sixteen (iPad) is a puzzle game, originally designed by an English sailor. The goal is to transpose the positions of the red and green pieces in the fewest number of moves.
Simply tap on a piece to move it into the vacant square on the board. A piece can either be moved to an adjacent vacant square, or jumped over an adjacent piece (of either color) to the vacant square. No diagonal moves or jumps are permitted.
A British expert puzzlist has discovered the quickest known solution, consisting of just 46 moves. See if you can you come close to, or even find the 46 move solution.
