Fishin w/Rosebud2 - The object of the game is to find the fish by tapping and/or dragging the stylus over the water to find the fish. An Albacore will appear and a beep will sound when you catch one. WARNING--Do not fish in the surrounding parking lot or on top of the rocks in the water, indicated by small white spots, or you will be invaded by random soda/beer cans and if you continue, the cans will eventually invade your fishing water. The cans were selected because the parking lot tends to get trashed. The numbers in the bottom left of the screen are the x y coordinates of where you are and you can try to keep track of where you have caught fish to be able to go back to that same spot during the next game but remember I select 6 random spots from my database each time you play and there are times when you will not catch any fish, which is true to life on this water. A lot of my locations are close to the edge and rocks. Click on the title of the program and click on the "admit defeat" dropdown to see where the fish were loaded fora particular session of the game. Click on the "FishPic"drop-down to see an image of an Albacore being caught a couple of years ago. The water shown is around the Pleasure Beach state boat launch in Waterford, CT. It is only one of a few places where False Albacore can be caught from shore with saltwater fly rods; usually during September, October, and November when there are schools of them chasing bait. Most of the Albacore I have seen caught here were caught on fly rods, although sometimes a spin fisherman will get lucky. Most of the fish run 7 to 12 lbs or so and are solid muscle; and will literally make your fly line and backing dissapear very quickly when you catch one. Of course I allow you to play the game anytime you want... Each time the program is started, it is loaded with 6 random fish from my database of locations. In real life, I only know of a couple of people who have caught more than a couple in a day. I cannot be held responsible if you wear out the screen in the shape of the water. Thanks for downloading my program, Rosebud blewis2@csi.com Future programs- Fishing the Tigres River in Bagdad, Iraq for the troops. Fishing the Atlantic Ocean for fish and/or submarines.
