GamePak - These are the games you grew up with and your children will love. Each game is designed for two players either on one palm device or two. The collection includes Blocks (sometimes call Dots), Tic-Tac-Toe, Connect4, and Reversi. If you want to entertain your kids (or co-worker) for hours, these games will surely do that.
To enable IR, load the application on both palm devices. With the program running, point the IR window on each device towards each other. The ideal distance is about two feet, but farther distances can be achieved. Each player selects a color on their device. When you select a color, the message "Waiting for IR" is displayed. When both players select a color and the IR connection is established, the message "IR Enabled" is displayed. If the connection is poor, try clicking on the player icon again on both devices and cancel IR, the try again. Either player, but only one, selected the game to be played. The other device will respond by loading the appropriate game. A player icon is displayed to the right of the New and Quit buttons when IR mode is enabled showing which device is assigned which color.
Blocks is played by alternately selecting the lines between the dots. The objective is to close all four sides of a box. Whichever player closes the box is awarded that box and can continue play. The game is over when all boxes have been uncovered. The player with the most boxes wins. The lines between the dots are relatively thin, so make sure you click very precisely between the dots.
Everybody knows you're supposed to connect three in a row, so start clicking boxes and see who wins.
The objective of Connect 4 is to connect four chips in a row, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Chips are dropped alternately by clicking one of the yellow dots at the top of the screen. When you click a dot, your chip will fall as far down as it can.
Reversi (also called Othello) is played by capuring your opponents chips. You capture chips by placing your chip in a open space so that it surrounds one or more of your opponents chips. All of your opponents chips that fall between your chip you just placed and another of your chips will be turned to your color. Play alternates until all spaces are filled. The player with the most chips wins. Tip: Chips in the corners cannot be captured and chips on the sides can only be captured vertically or horizontally.
