Overview

Mighty Charms takes the mega popular puzzle swapping gameplay to a whole new level!! More pieces, more freedom, more strategy.

In addition to the classic gameplay, you are given the added freedom to create diagonal rows. Opening up a new world of possibilities.

How to play!

The goal of the game is to score as many points as possible. You get points by swapping adjacent pieces to form lines of 3 or more identical pieces. You may create these lines horizontally, vertically, and diagonally.

How to move

To swap any two adjacent pieces, you first select the piece you want moved. Followed by clicking on the adjacent piece you want to swap it with. (Adjacent being defined as one step up,down, left or right). Below are some examples...

Moving a piece to an adjacent position will cause the pieces to be swapped. If the move doesn't produce a line of 3 or more identical pieces (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) it will not be allowed and the piece will be moved back.

Note: You may also swap pieces by selecting a piece and dragging it in the direction you want to swap.

How to form a line

The smallest line you can build consists of three identical pieces. Below are some examples of how a line is formed:

The bonus bar

The bonus bar is located at the bottom of the screen and increases as you recieve points. When it is full you get bonus points and several random pieces will be removed. This is important to remember because the longer you play the harder it is to create new lines.

Scoring

The base score is 10 points for a forming a line of 3 identical piece

Extra points are rewarded to lines of 4+

e.g.

Extra points are also rewarded for chain rections. Each iteration of a chain reaction increases a points multiplier.

Timed Expert - Timed fast mode is for veteran players wanting an even greater challenge. The bonus bar starts half full and quickly decrements. Once the bar is empty the game is over. To increment the bonus bar, you need to create lines to earn points..

Hints

You can get hints on demand by clicking the hints button at the top of the screen. This causes a piece to be highlighted, indicating that it can be used to form a line. In return for a hint, the bonus bar level will be decremented.

Pause

You can pause a game at any time with the pause button. This is especially useful in the timed modes.
