How to play:
You will be taken into a hybrid technology world, mixing cutting edge physics simulation and cool retro LCD game design.
The goal is to protect your diamonds and coins from the deadly pixels by dropping retro-LCD shaped items from the top of the screen. They will fall down and follow the rules of real world physics. You must aim right!
If your treasures get hit by the deadly pixels or fall out of the screen, try again :)
You have to drop all the items available to complete a level, but watch out: deadly pixels can be anywhere.
Both action and strategy will be required to solve this brain twister.
This game is free, fun and enjoyable right away, anywhere, anytime. If your time is limited, you can play for just a couple of minutes and keep progressing, if you have free time the challenges will always be here for hours of fun.
Pixel Rain features an old-school style both for graphics and sound. The display looks like graphing calculators' LCD screen used in high-school and college (like Casio, TI-83, TI-89...).
It may also remind you of the first generation of Game Boy.
Sound effects are mainly chiptune, sexy 8-bit waveforms - a popular genre which has root in the demoscene in its early days.
