Unofficial IDPS Dumper for Cobra ODE: Dump on an OFW Console - Have you ever wanted to get the IDPS of your official firmware console? With a little help from Cobra ODE, this app can do the trick in seconds!
In case you don't know, the IDPS is one of the identifiers responsible for allowing consoles onto the PlayStation Network. Thanks to this tool by an anonymous source, anyone with a Cobra ODE can easily dump this important information to a text document at will. There are no real uses for this yet in terms of ODE users, but the digits could theoretically be given out to a user with a banned CFW console to help get them back online. It's not really a great idea to do that, so maybe you should consider this release more of a proof of concept than anything else.
Senaxx hereby presents to you the (Unofficial) Cobra IDPS dumper.
A friend of mine (which I (Senaxx) shall not name) found a way to dump the IDPS on OFW. I created a neat cobra package from this. You can put this in your PS3_GAMES directory and run it from XMB.
Usage: 1.) Put a fat32 formatted USB key in the USB000 (most left) or USB001 or right port 2.) Run the homebrew program, and it will exit again to the XMB 3.) IDPS.bin is on your USB drive.
For now this IDPS.bin is not very usefull (yet) but we might need it in the future.
