Warship Design Calculator is designed to simulate the complexities of the warship design process. It focuses particular attention on Battleships and other warship designs of the first half of the twentieth century. During this time warship designs were limited by several arms limitation treaties (Washington Treaty of 1922, London Treaties of 1930 and 1936) and designers were forced to squeeze maximum performance out of limited displacements. The Warship Design Calculator has been designed with these limitations in mind so that the user may get some idea of the difficulty confronting these designers.
