Navigate is a Palm OS program for computing the range and bearing between any two points on the Earth's surface OR the end location given a starting location, range and bearing.
It will compute these solutions for either lines of constant bearing (loxodromes or rhumb lines) or the shortest possible path on the Earth (geodesics or great circle routes).

The calculator also supports the conversion of angular units between decimal degrees, degree and decimal minutes, or degrees, minutes and decimal seconds; and range units of kilometers, nautical miles, statue miles, meters or yards.

The complete source code is also available on the author's web site.

2005 Meteor Shower Database - This is a database of 2005 meteor showers, including: name of the shower, date range, date at which the shower peaks, the maximum rate per hour, the entry velocity, and the radiant. For observation, the higher ZHR (Zenithal Hourly Rate), the better (more meteors)
MondphaseMondphase
Mondphase - German translation of Moon Phase. This application will graphically display the phase of the Moon for any day. This version is corrected to work with any version of the PalmPilot, to my knowledge. The older pilots won't have the full functionality, however

TealInfoDB: Messier Objects - a catalog of the Messier Objects listing RA, declination, visual magnitude and other handy information when viewing these astronomical wonders
SunFlySunFly
SunFly - allows computation of sunrise and sunset observed from an aircraft. With SunFly, mainly an application for aviators, you can exactly predict not only time but also the position of sunrise or sunset. Insert two waypoints with its coordinates and the respective estimated time over (ETO), the flight level and SunFly does the rest

2004 Meteor Shower Database - This is a database of 2004 meteor showers, including: name of the shower, date range, date at which the shower peaks, the maximum rate per hour, and the radiant. For observation, the higher ZHR (Zenithal Hourly Rate), the better (more meteors). Maximum dates in parentheses indicate reference dates for the radiant, not true maxima
Moon PhaseMoon Phase
Moon Phase will graphically display the phase of the Moon for any day. This version is corrected to work with any version of the PalmPilot, to my knowledge. What's New in This Release: · Fixed failing to use default colors when not in inverted mode

WaveCalc is an ocean wave calculator for the Palm OS. It will compute any wave parameter (e.g. frequency, wavelength, phase speed, ...) from any other. Just type in a value in any field and hit the Calculate button. The calculator supports both gravity and capillary wave modes. WaveCalc is free. The full source code is available on the author's web site
MagCalcMagCalc
MagCalc is a Palm OS program for computing the Earth's magnetic field at any location based on the US DoD magnetic field model. MagCalc computes the total intensity, horizontal intensity, magnetic declination (or variation) and dip. It also computes the annular rate of change of each these parameters
DensCalcDensCalc
DensCalc is a sea water equation of state calculator for the Palm OS. It will compute any two of the following four parameters: temperature, conductivity, salinity, and density, from the other two parameters and it will do this for any depth in the ocean
