You have to type tiresome password to unlock your PDA usually. But imagine that your hands are borrowed. You may simply unlock your PDA using only one hand with MultiTap Lock. It's fast and simple.

Lock securely!
You have to tap (one or more times) at secret areas you have selected, when you turn on a locked PDA. There is no any possibility to guess code. You have to enter system password if somebody enter a wrong code. You may vary security level by changing size and number of areas.
You may lock your pda for one time or lock it permanently (just like PalmOS system security does).

In tests, entering a 4 digit password using the standard password program took 8 seconds.
With MultiTap Lock, entering 4-digit password took just 2 seconds.
Personalize your PDA!
You may choose any picture you have (just use family's photo) or select picture from our collection. You do not need to convert image on a desktop pc (like some other programs force you to do), you should just use any jpeg you have. You may use picture with any dimensions. As a bonus, a set of images (fun and nature) comes with this program. Some of them are shown bellow (They are fun, look at them!!!).
Update your OS!
PalmInc has built a new feature in T|T5. You can unlock PDA by pressing a sequence of keys on a virtual numpad in this device. MultiTap Lock offers you more flexibility: you can use a numpad picture to mirror this feature or any other picture.
Example of using MultiTap Lock
There exists many ways of using MultiTap Lock. You may use logo of your company, or photo of your dog called Fido, for example.
Let us suppose that user wants to lock his pda (he doesn't want children to get access pda, for example).
He selects picture (any picture from palm's internal memory), first:
Then he has to define some areas in the picture
He may choose any areas in the picture. It is logical to choose button zones for numpad picture .
He decides to lock his pda with password 795. He select areas with '7', '9', '5' one after each other (just lift down stylus in the upper left corner of '7' button, move it to right down corner and lift it up there, perform this steps for '9' and '5' buttons).
Then he has to switch to 'On' state (this locks pda finally) or press 'Lock' button (this locks pda only once) in the main dialog.
When locked PDA is turned on, user has to tap '7','9','5' to get access to the pda.
User name, battery status and time are displayed in the login dialog.
No code guessing is allowed. If invalid password is tapped, system password should be entered.
