TapSmart EZsync is a handy utility for the automated scheduling and unattended start of a HotSync. You can schedule a HotSync to occur at a specific time of the day, or on a continuous basis that occur at specified time intervals and ranges. You can also configure your Palm OS device to HotSync when placed in the cradle.
Use TapSmart EZsync to better manage your busy schedule to always keep your Palm up to date and information backed up. For example, you can set a recurring HotSync to occur every day at 4:50 p.m. just before you leave the office.
TapSmart EZsync has flexible scheduling options. One option is to configure a scheduled HotSync; you can specify it to occur on a recurring basis over a weekly schedule at specific times, or a one time occurrence at a specified future time. Another option is to specify a Continuous HotSync, that is, one that occurs at a specific interval, say every 30 minutes, over a configurable weekly schedule. Yet a third is to HotSync each time the PDA is placed in the cradle. The EZsync main screen easily lets you see at a glance when the next HotSync operation is scheduled and any dependencies on it.
Each HotSync operation can be individually specified to be either a local or remote HotSync. A local HotSync is generally done over the USB cable, and a remote HotSync is generally done over a network or dial-up connection.
TapSmart EZsync works on any Palm OS 4.0 or 5.0 PDA.
