ShortCutz is a Palm OS utility that allows you to create links to applications that reside on the handheld's internal memory or on a storage card. This allows you to have applications available in more than one Launcher category. For instance, it may be convenient to have the Preferences Application (Prefs) available in both the System and Games categories. It can also be convenient to have some of your applications that reside on memory cards to have icons in the Main category if you use them frequently. This saves you from switching over to the card category.

Send to Card Send to Card makes any Send-aware application export its data to card. It can be invoked in any application using the system "Send" command, i.e. most built-in applications and a lot of third party utility software.

IrOff IrOff - "Beam receive" is a feature that allows a Palm handheld to continuously scan its IR receiver for incoming transfers.
It is useful in some situations, but it draws a fair amount of power from the battery and reduces autonomy.
You can turn this feature off from the Prefs/General panel; but on Palm OS 4
GConsole GConsole - The program is intended to let user change system features which is not available from "Prefs". Currently it can control/show battery type and auto-off time, memory usage and defragment, cpu frequence, LCD brightness/contrast/backlight and display mode and HotSync user name.

ComLink ComLink can redirect any call to the serial library to other communication ports.
These ports are Serial Infrared, IrComm and USB (Handspring Visor only). Therefore you can Hotsync via any of those.
You can write communication apps that use any of these ports for example in Waba or Pocket C
NoWaiTZ NoWaiTZ removes wait states from RAM and ROM on IIIx and V, and minimizes streaking on the 3x. Does NOT interefere with beaming or serial port speeds since it DOES NOT OVERCLOCK.
Any instability is because the system will not tolerate the lowered wait states (or an app uses a static timing loop and won't work at higher speed) and is not something I can fix
