Any chess player knows the importance of having a clock to hand in order to time each player's moves.
Game Timer gives you the ability to keep track of these times using your Palm device. It couldn't be simpler to use - you have two time displays, one for each player, along with a 'Switch' button. After starting the count, each player hits the 'Switch' button when their move is finished and the other player's counter starts ticking down.
There are a few options you can tweak to customize Game Timer. For instance, you can change the time limit, set handicaps, add a Pause button and configure hardware buttons to control the timers.
In terms of its visuals, Game Timer isn't going to win any beauty contests, and there's not much of a user interface to it. That said, the buttons are large enough to be quickly tapped by a finger.
It's not the most fully featured application in history, but Game Timer might come in handy if you're a regular chess player.
