NoteTaker and SpellCheck - This application is essentially a replacement for the built-in Palm 'Memo Pad' application with the added bonus of an English spelling checker and functions to help speed up Graffiti input. The spellcheck uses a dictionary file that comes in three sizes to best suit your needs.
Graffiti input is assisted in two ways:
Word Completion - words are suggested in a listbox, which you can tap on to complete the word. This often saves you many strokes.
Graffiti Assist - this automatically corrects common mistakes that Graffiti makes on your individual stokes. You can configure which characters are commonly mistaken for others.
SpellCheck
This was the first attempt at providing word completion and English spell checking. It was desirable to have the input assistance available system-wide, ie. not just in one application. To do this we needed to make it a "hack" (under HackMaster). Hacks can cause problems on some handhelds depending on what else is installed. If you experience repeated Fatal Exceptions then we suggest you use NoteTaker instead of SpellCheck. SpellCheck is unsupported - if it works for you, then great! Otherwise please use NoteTaker - it is not a "Hack" and is much more stable.
Note that SpellCheck and NoteTaker are covered by the same key. They are sold as a bundle and the key supplied will unlock either software product.
