Purchase Pal provides a number of tools to help you manage your buying:
Gifts - use this to record the details of gifts that you want to buy for friends and relatives. For each gift you can record who it's for, the occasion, price, where to buy from, when to buy it for, whether you've bought it yet or not, and any other notes.
Future Buys - use this to record the details of items you wish to remember to buy at some time in the future. For each item you can record what it is and other specific details, price, where to buy from, when to buy it for or when it becomes available for purchase, and any other notes.
Shopping List - use this to create a list of items that you regularly buy, like groceries and household goods, and mark those you need to buy at your next shopping trip. For each item you can record what it is, where you buy it from, and whether nor not to buy it next time you shop.
Compare Prices - use this to record and compare the price and details of an item you specify, e.g. a TV, to help you when considering various buying alternatives. For each specific item you can record the price/quote, the supplier, the date of the price/quote, and any other notes. This utility uses the entries you define in the Price/Quote Items and Price/Quotes utilities to allow you to sort and view your price comparisons.
Expense Tracker - use this to log your expenses. For each expense your can record what it is, the cost, the date, and any other notes.
