Task Manager Mobile is an application for people (like project managers, coordinators, general managers/directors, project leads) who need to manage tasks and want to capitalise their experience and knowledge while doing so (it has an integrated Knowledge Management module). It allows keeping track of tasks over time, with possibilities to adapting and updating according to actual status.
It also helps estimating costs (and duration) by using itself as a referential database for estimations (and potential expectable issues which might arise). For this, it basically uses similar tasks (as defined by the user via the tasks characteristics) to provide insight to the manager on his own passed experience.
Its main core concepts are:
* Project: A project aggregates a number of tasks. It also has a description and defines project properties (types of available tasks, types of possible updates, ...).
* Task: A task is a piece of work that must be done on a project. Tasks have an executor, a name, a time estimate, a current spent time, a description, ...
* Task Update: A task update is information which can be added to a task during the task's lifecycle. These updates can be either problems, progress, ... At each update you can also inform the current spent time and reevaluate the estimated cost for the task.
* Project Report: Task Manager Mobile offers a functionality to automatically generate an HTML report of the project, with the full list of tasks, updates and so on with all the necessary information to analyse the project's status (dates, estimates, ...).
