HexStarBoard - A clone of a game known as Chinese Checkers. Supports both classic and fast pace variations of the game (fast pace rule allows jumping over non-adjacent pieces). Allows from 2 to 6 players.
This implementation supports several board sizes, as well as different amount for marbles for a selected board size. It introduces penalties to discourage a player from deliberately blocking opponents' target fields.
The application provides save/restore, take back/replay and other features. It provides native touch screen support, where available, while at the same time fully functional with keypad devices. It takes advantage of transparency (alpha rendering), if your device supports it.
Several levels of computer players are provided, and you also can play the game over Bluetooth, provided all devices support JSR-82. The application is designed to be safe proof from some network problems. In particular, a terminated network game can be saved and resumed later.
Also available:
Compact Release - no BT, help etc, but smaller in size;
Legacy Release - for MIDP 1.0 devices (pre 2004) - no BT
