Chinese flash card system which works together with the www.trainchinese.com website.
The Software needs to connect to trainchinese.com to download flashcards featuring audio and example usage from a selection of more than 30,000 words and phrases sorted into helpful categories (if that's not enough you can create your own from the Collins Mandarin Chinese Dictionary on the website). In case you do not choose the cards the trainchinese server will choose cards for you based on your current Chinese level (Basic, Elementary, Intermediate or Advanced).
Please make sure to register on the website www.trainchinese.com before you try to get more cards!
Each card is learned in four distinct training modes, and each time these are completed it "sleeps" for longer period of times until you've learned the word for sure.
Train Reading, seeing the Chinese characters
Train Translation and see the English first
Train Recognition of the spoken words by hearing the original audio recording made by native speakers in China
Train Dictation mode and practice to write characters
You can train at your own pace and may select only some of above training modes based on your preferences.
You can check your learning progress checking the progress charts on the phone.
While training you just are using the phone in off-line mode, only when getting new cards the phone will require internet access
