G-Racer for Java - G-Racer is a lap-timing software for motor sports. Unlike ordinary race lap timers G-Racer doesn't need any beacons installed beside the track. The ordinary transponders and beacons are replaced with GPS counterparts - with even 1/100 second precision. It gives a huge advantage to measure lap times without an extra hardware installed alongside the track. But all of these benefits are useless without the accuracy. Timing is not directly supported by GPS-hardware. GPS-hardware is designed to solve navigation problems not timing. We, developers of G-Racer, have invented totally new way to process GPS-data to solve one specific problem - lap timing. G-Racer is precise.
