System Requirements
CarFacts requires Pocket PC 2002 or better installed. 32MB of RAM or more is recommended. The actual program file is only 68KB in size. Since this is a database program, the total size will depend on the amount of data you put in.
CarFacts version 2 is written entirely in C# and targets the new Compact Framework from Microsoft. As of the release of this product, very few Pocket PCs have the Compact Framework installed, however, it is a free download and appropriate links are provided with the product documentation. The Compact Framework will require slightly over 2MB of storage on your device.
CarFacts version 2 is dramatically faster than the previous release, primarily due to the inclusion of SQL Server Compact Edition. Again, it is a free download and appropriate links are included in the product documentation. SQL Server CE will require slightly less than 2MB of storage on your device.
We apologize that no trial version of CarFacts.NET is available. Due to the fact that versions have to be made specifically for each targeted processor, the cost of developing additional trial versions is prohibitive. Please allow us to suggest that you look at the user manual for a detailed look at the product before you buy.
