Xoost is a user-driven Social Search engine that brings together people to do the experience of searching, finding, submitting, ranking, sharing and connecting around search keywords and web pages from every corner of the Web. Xoost.com searches the top engines on the Web - Google, Yahoo, and MSN Live Search and builds up a Search Community on top of them.
Xoost.com has recently launched "Yes, Keep It" button. This key feature allows web browsers to vote for their search results without leaving the web pages they are visiting.
The mechanism is simple and intuitive. When users believe there is a good match between their search keywords and the web page they are visiting they will click on the button "Yes, Keep It", otherwise they can select the option "No, Keep Searching" and they will visit other web pages or maybe change the search syntax. The web searches and web pages voted by users will be automatically added to their Xoost profiles and will contribute to the general Xoost ranking system.
Users experience an innovative way of searching the web and have an unprecedented control of their search keywords and web pages. This distinct technology is a step forward building up a useful and global social search platform.
