Mental Flex - Want a game that might actually do your mind some good? This one just might with practice. The game requires you to rapidly switch mental sets by identifying a shape by the color of the word or by the meaning of a word. When identifying a shape by the color of the word, you must ignore the word's meaning. When identifying a shape by the meaning of the word, you must ignore its color. This game allows you to practice you cognitive flexibility, concentration, and ability to ignore competing information.
Each trial contains a verbal directive and two shapes. You must identify the correct shape based on the directive. If the directive is Color, you identify the correct shape based on the color of the word. If the directive is word, you ignore the color of the word and choose the correct shape based on the meaning of the word (for example: triangle).
The game allows you to track and graph your score history and contains a global top scores board.
