Point Forecast Lite - Get the weather forecast for any location inside the United States -- not just cities and towns! This app is perfect for hikers, backpackers, boaters and other outdoor enthusiasts who want data for a specific point, not just the nearest city.
Pinpointing places "off the beaten trail" can be tricky with conventional weather services that work only for cities and zip codes. With Point Forecast Lite, you can explore a map, then drop a pin anywhere to get the forecast for trailheads, campsites, mountain peaks and open water.
The free version is ad-supported and allows saving only one favorite, but is otherwise fully-featured.
The full version, called "Point Forecast", has no ads and let you save an unlimited number of favorites. It's also available in the Marketplace.
