Silverlife is an adaptation of John Conway's game of Life for phones. Life debuted in the October 1970 issue of Scientific American and rapidly became one of the most popular computer simulations of all time.
Silverlife is a cellular automata game in which you draw a pattern of cells and then evolve the cells from one generation to the next. Cells live or die based on simple genetic rules:
- If a live cell has two or three neighbors, it survives in the next generation
- If a live cell has less than two neighbors, it dies from underpopulation
- If a live cell has more than three neighbors, it dies from overpopulation
- If a deal cell has exactly three neighbors, it comes alive in the next generation
Use the Start button to start a simulation running, or the Step button to evolve the cells on generation at a time.
