Mp3 files
For the best size/quality, use 16kHz mp3 files from S60 1st Edition to S60 2nd Edition FP1 phones (e.g. Nokia 6600, Nokia 7610), 44.1kHz is available only for newer phones (e.g. Nokia 6680, Nokia N70).
Nokia 7650 has a limited memory, therefore it is recommended to use low bitrate and frequency files, e.g. 32kbits, 8kHz.
You may use the free winLAME encoder to convert existing files to lower bitrates and/or frequency.
Main screen
Seek: press the joystick left or right for a long time.
Restart current track: press joystick left shortly.
Next track: press joystick.
Press the joystick right to see the list of mp3 files on the phone.
Press button 0..9 for a long time to save a bookmark, or shortly to go to the saved position.
Settings
Playlist repeating: repeat the playlist or stop when all files have been already played.
Playlist shuffling: songs come in a random order after each other.
Bluetooth headset: switch this on and restart the program if you want to use your Bluetooth headset .
Screen always on: the screen will not go to standby when playing.
ID3 charset: you can display speacial accented characters in the title/author of mp3 files. For Latin-1, use ISO 8859-1; the list of common character sets are listed in help.
