mPlayer is one of the most popular Linux/Unix media player. Now, thanks to XDA-Developers forum member amitv_17 its ported for Windows Mobile devices.
Everything is still under development but most of the usual features are already available plus support for the basic audio/video formats like AVI, WMA, MP3, OGG etc. MPlayer is compatible with most WM5 and WM6 Pocket PC’s and Smartphones. It seems it’s incompatible with pre-WM5 operating systems ( WM2003 etc.).
Unzip the contents of the file to anywhere on your Windows Mobile Pocket PC or Smartphone. Start it by executing mplayer.exe (Be sure to have enough free space)
