Y-Tasks is a collection of development helper tools for S60 3rd edition devices.
Y-Tasks application and plug-in modules are all self-signed, thus they are missing some important functionalities. The main server is made to implement these functionalities, which currently include process & tasks Killing and changing file type mappings with Filetypes plug-in module. This sis file is unsigned and you are required to sign it with your own developer certificate.

LocationRequestor LocationRequestor -Python extension that allows access to the Location Acquisition API (which connects to, for example, an internal and/or external GPS). It supports both blocking calls and callbacks. It is based on the 'lbsreference' example in the Symbian SDK
PktPing PktPing also named Pocket Ping, is a Ping utility for Symbian S60 devices.
