Applet consists of two databases, Fuel Tracker & Gas Stations (DBPopup). The applet allows the user to record basic information for each fill up including Date of Sale (automatic entry), Sale (cost of fuel), Price/Gallon and current Odometer Reading. The applet then computes and displays Gallons Pumpted, MPG, Miles/Dollar (of fuel), Total Sales to Date, Avg. Sales to Date, Avg. Price/Gallon, Avg. MPG and Avg. Miles/$. The Gas Station database is accessed through a DBPopup field in Fuel Tracker. It contains basic information about the gas station you bought fuel from, including station Name, Location & Phone number. You don't have to enter detail information about your gas stations. Just the name is sufficient. However, this popup database is ideal for distinguishing between franchise stations & is also convenient if you need to call the station. To begin using Fuel Tracker, fill up your tank & create a record containing only your current odometer reading. The next time you fill up your tank, you will enter the Station, Sale, Price/Gallon & your current Odometer reading, and the applet computes & displays the statistical data when you open the saved record for display. Fuel Tracker always highlights the last record saved as a convenience. Aside from tracking useful statistics about your car's fuel performance, you can also use it to track where fuel you purchased was the cheapest.
