Pocket Informant comes with a huge set of features and a broad functionality going beyond the possibilities of most desktop PIMs. Despite being so feature rich, its user interface stays intuitive and clear helping you to easily manage your appointments, tasks and contacts.
The ability to attach icons to certain items by assigning those items to categories or attaching an icon unique to an item enhances the management of your personal data. Visually, icons can offer you a perfect way to get a quick overview of your appointments, tasks or contact data faster than any text can do. Category icons help you to organize your personal data. As an example, you could assign a specific icon that you link with holidays to a holiday's event. You will know that it is a holiday at a glance. A briefcase icon might indicate a business appointment; a shopping cart icon reminds you to go shopping.
Pocket Informant ships with a small number of free icons as examples on how to use category icons. We have teamed up with some of the best icon designers in the PDA world and are proud to introduce our icon sets for Pocket Informant.
