Bristol Pocket A-Z Map - This publication has been designed for a Windows® Mobile-based Pocket PC (version 2002 or later) and The Pocket A-Z Viewer. The map covers an area of Bristol, extending to Avonmouth, Cribbs Causeway, Winterbourne Down, Emerson's Green, Mangotsfield, Oldland, Keynsham, Whitchurch, Withywood, Long Ashton and Easton-in-Gordano. Major buildings are colour-coded to indicate places of interest and other buildings that are open to the public.

Enlarge or reduce the map by using the magnifying glass symbols on the toolbar.
Fully Indexed
Lookup or search over 25,000 entries for a street, district name, station, hospital or selected place of interest in the index and it's position will be shown on-screen. (Stations, Postcodes and Junction indexes only avaliable on selected maps)
Extra Index Information
The index shows additional information, such as postal districts for streets and telephone numbers for hospitals. Stations in the index show whether a mainline rail or underground connection is available. If a street is too small to be shown on the map, it will still be included in the index, with a note showing its location.
Direction Finder
You can use the Pocket A-Z to show the direction of travel from one location to another. Place the 'person' icon at the start location on the map then place a 'flag' icon at the destination. Then by clicking the 'show direction' icon an arrow appears indicating the direction of travel required as the crow flies between the two points. If the map is re-centred whilst traveling, the arrow will re-adjust to show the new direction to the destination.
Additional maps are also available covering other towns and cities throughout the UK. These can be installed along-side this publication and stored on storage cards to provide a useful library of maps which can be added and removed as required.
System Requirements Windows® Mobile-based Pocket PC (version 2002 or later). Bristol map requires approx 12MB storage space. Installer requires PC with Windows® 2000, XP or Vista and a connection to a Pocket PC. Please note that this will not run on PDA's running Palm OS.
