R/E EXPENSES for HanDBase - This is a very simple expense recording database for real estate sales people. It allows for entry of a dollar amount and check boxes for the type of expense. Sales commissions paid may also be recorded by making a (-)amount entry (Of course, you can choose to enter ordinary expenses as minuses).
You may also keep miles driven and to-from locations as well as a note field for recording the purpose expense, or whatever you like. This can help at the end of the year to summarize business costs.
Check boxes with abbreviated label include:
meals (you can simply enter the client's part and put purpose in the comments field if you so choose)
office supplies
licensing fees
agency/board/MLS fees
r/e cell phone charges
advertising
computer-related (PCs, software, handhelds, etc)
auto repairs
auto washing
education
closing gifts
and ***COMMISSIONS***.
It is up to the user to create his/her own filters and reports; I just export to a spreadsheet. I created this for my Dell Pocket PC. Feel free to change things around to suit yourself.
