QkCalc is an expression evaluator that can enable you to make quick calculations. It stays on top of programs and occupies only a small screen area. The results can be copied to the clipboard and it can be closed easily.
Advantages of QkCalc
1. It is an expression evaluator, thus you can plan and organise your calculations before you perform the actual calculation.
2. It stays on top of programs and occupies only a small screen area. Thus it is readily accessable once it is opened, yet it does not obstructed the screen. Hence you can still write notes, do a quick calculation, and return back to writing notes easier.
3. It does not make use of MFC libraries. This makes it small and compact.
4. Results can be copied to and pasted from the clipboard. This enables easy transfer of the result to other programs and vice versa.
5. Nothing is written to the registry and only one file is needed to run the program. This makes it easier to uninstall if you don't like it.
6. It's freeware
What's new in QkCalc 1.1
Added a button (the one with two arrows, one up and one down), to move QkCalc either to the top or bottom of the screen (just above keyboard). This will enable you to move QkCalc to a position where it will not obstruct your view.
