swimPro allows you to time multiple swimmers and calculate measurements of swimmers' pace.
· Multiple swim timers - time and make calculations for a maximum of 8 swimmers (4 swimmers on the Palm and Pocket PC) at the same time.
· Two independent timers - one for timing each lap of a swimmer, and the second for timing a fixed number of strokes which will be used to determine stroke rate and distance.
· Configurable for any pool - the lap distance can be specified in yards or meters, and any length (e.g., 25 yards, 50 meters) can be set. The numbers of stroke cycles which you will use to measure the stroke parameters is also configurable.
· Hotkeys - Timers can be started, stopped and reset with numbers 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 and letters Q W E R T Y U I. All timers can be started, stopped, and reset using keys Z X C on the Handheld PC, not just using on-screen buttons, which makes it easy to operate the stopwatch functionality while keeping your eyes on the swimmer rather than on the screen of the Handheld PC, thus facilitating accurate timing.
· swimPro also can utilize the hardware application keys available on Handheld and Pocket PCs to start all timers and to record splits.
Automatic calculations for:
· Lap time
· Lap counter
· Swimming speed, in a variety of units - minutes per 100 yards or meters, miles or kilometers per hour, or minutes per mile or kilometer
· Stroke rate (SR), in cycles per minute or cycles per second
· Distance per stroke (d/S), in yards or meters
· Saving data - All calculations and times can be saved to a file for all swim timers. This file, in CSV format, can be easily accessed and modified using Microsoft Excel on your desktop.
· Calculations are always shown on the main screen for the most recently completed set of times, as well as the one previous to that, so that changes (as the swimmer is tiring) can be seen
