jShun Lock - Simple device lock application. I use it with Dopod 838 to lock it without returning to Today screen. It can be ran from application launcher; Start Menu or hardware keys by creating a shortcut to it.

IE's that files) are actually locked and cannot be deleted when in use, but with the clean up performed during bootup, these files will be removed
