Matrix 10 Free - The Matrix Calculator supports square matrices with size of 2 through 10 and implements the following functions:
Determinant
Inverse
Transpose
A + B
A - B
A * B
The calculator has three (3) memories to facilitate argument manipulation for calculations. The white buttons save calculation results and the blue buttons restore the memory contents to the applicable matrix window. The "B" window can be loaded from A1, A2 or B1 memories. For example, if [C] = [A]T[B] (A transpose times B):
1. Enter matrix A and press A1 (white) to save A
2. Enter matrix B and press B1 (white) to save B
3. Press Trans to calculate [A]T (the transpose of A). Results will appear in the "A" window.
4. Press A2 (white) to save [A]T
5. Press A2 (blue) to load saved [A]T
6. Press A x B to calculate [C]. Results will appear in the "A" window.
Pressing Clr loads the matrix windows with the default template. Pressing A1 (blue) loads the "A" window (or the "B" window if the lower A1 is pressed) with [A]. Pressing A2 (blue) loads the "A" window (or the "B" window if the lower A2 is pressed) with [A]T .
A default template is provided to simplify entry. Simply edit the template to accommodate your matrix. You may also enter a matrix manually, but the format must match that of the template provided. Parentheses () may be used in lieu of brackets [ ]. Real numbers are rounded to 3 places by default.
