FriendlyAlarm - This hack makes scheduled alarms friendlier. No more unwanted alerts and missed morning alarms. Hack catches all alerts, showed inside alarm handlers and convert them to the subtle attentions, so no alarm are missed.

Remember frequent situation: there are no free space on card. Backup program wakes at 3:00AM, tries to make backup, fails and show alert dialog. PalmOS don't call next alarm until previous alarm complete its job. So, waking at the morning (too late! why?) you find failed backup (it's your fault) and missed morning alarm (it's PalmOS feature ;-(.

Installing FriendlyAlarm hack you can avoid such troubles. FriendlyAlarm traps alert calls inside alarm handlers and send them to Attention Manager. Now you see sparkling star in top left corner. When you tap on star, you can see list of missed alerts and other notifications. Select checkboxes near messages to dismiss them. If alert text doesn't fit into reminders form, you can call complete text by clicking on message.
  • Hack doesn't change behavior of usual forms.
  • Hack doesn't change behavior of fatal alert forms (use 'Crash' hack)
  • Hack emulates pressing default button in alert form.

FlipHack is a HackMaster hack for PalmOS that lets you rotate your screen 90, 180, and 270 degrees (and continue using your device). There is some slowdown, but it is usable. Released under GPL. Source code is available from my web site. Hoshi Takanori has released a DA to activate FlipHack from any application (using a DA launcher). It's called FlipDA

Two Key On Hack makes it so your Palm will only turn on when the contrast button is pressed, so you have to press the contrast button plus another button. This is a very simple way to overcome the problem of your Palm V turning on in your pocket

DW's DAs like other DAs is a little application that you launch while you're in another application. For example, you might be writing something in Memo Pad and have to make a quick calculation -->> no problem, just launch a calculator DA while you're still in Memo Pad (you don't need to exit!)

MenuHack - corrects a small user interface deficiency in the Pilot. Ordinarily, clicking in the title bar of an application does nothing, which is very counter-intuitive for anyone used to the drop-down menus of Macs and PCs
