VBook - When you have documents in Chinese or Japanese and you only have a handheld running english operation system, VBook will help you. VBook can handle double-byte charsets very well, supported charsets are GB2312, GBK ,BIG5 and Shift-JIS.
VBook support standard palm document and pure text document (need expansion card). For best effect, I recommend you use BookMaker to make documents for VBook, VBook's document has be optimized for speed access and a big compression ratio. If you convert document from html file, the link with in it will be reserved.
Usage
First of all, you need one or more fonts for corresponding charset. The font can be made by FontMaker. Font can be installed in handheld's memory or expansion card. When install to expansion card, it must be put under directory /PALM/Programs/VBook. By default, VBook will not use fonts for display double-byte characters, you must allow it by menu Options->Font, and check "Use additional font" option. The Chs font popup list displays all fonts found on your handled, select one you like.
