LingvoSoft English-Japanese (Kana) Talking Dictionary for Palm OS - provides bidirectional word translation and advanced speech synthesis in English.
Make your Palm speak English with LingvoSoft English Japanese (Kana) Talking Bidirectional Dictionary! Just select any English word and with one click make the speech synthesizer pronounce it for you. The synthesizer (Text-to-Speech engine) is based on a new approach to speech synthesis, i.e. formant synthesis, which creates a human voice simulation by modeling the sounds of a natural language.
Once installed on your device it will allow your Palm to speak English words and phrases! It also includes powerful search functions such as Quick Search, Vector Ultima spell-checker and our signature MorphoFinder function.
While the LingvoSoft Talking Dictionary English Japanese (Kana) for Palm OS is an entirely new dictionary in this series, improvements have been made to the application which include enhanced support for Tungsten T5 and Treo 600/650 devices, superior design and updated interfaces. To save some bother for users of certain Palm devices, we have made the application to be executable from the Internal Card. A Katakana/Hiragana keyboard has also been included.
