TroefCall is a Surinam card game played much in the Netherlands. "Troef" is the dutch word for trump. In other words, the game means "call the trump".
TroefCall is played with 2 teams. Each team member sits opposite to each other. 2 is the lowest card and the ace is the highest. Trump cards are higher than normal cards.
On the first turn every player takes a card randomly, the player with the highest card calls the trump (troef) and begins. On every turn all players play one card. layers must follow suit. If the player can't, he/she may choose to play any card he wants.
The one that played the highest card begins in the next turn.
Rules for winning:
The team that first takes 7 "hands" wins the round. That team has the right to call the trump and can also begin in the next round. How many games you need to win in order to win the match is up to the player.
Ranks in Troefcall when resolving a "hand":
Rank in Number:
A higher number has a greater value. Examples: A three is higher than a two. An ace is higher than a 10.
Trump (Troef): Any card with its symbol equal to trump is higher than any card that has a symbol different from trump. If both cards are trump cards than resolving takes place just as with numbers.
