f/Calc is a calculator for photographic formulas. These formulas are at the heart of many interesting questions about the technical side of photography. You could compute these functions by hand, but they range from tedious to difficult, even with a good scientific calculator.
When you let f/Calc do the hard work, you gain an intuitive feel for what the results mean, because you can quickly try new input values to see how they affect the result.
f/Calc can calculate:
f number arithmetic (e.g. f/2.8 plus 2.5 stops, or f/3.5 minus f/1.4)
Depth of field
Hyperfocal distance
Field of view
Angle of view
Magnification
Spot meter view angle
This program requires MathLib, which is included in the archive. Note that if you have a Handspring Visor, you don't need to install MathLib: it's in the Visor's ROM!
By "color application", I mean it includes a color icon, that's it. :)
