Satellites of the Solar System - This is Smartlist To Go (formerly ThinkDB) database contain a listing of the satellites of the 9 major planets and those found around asteroids and minor planets.
This database is complete free and will remain so for all future updates.
To use this database, select a primary (a planet or MP, a category for minor planet satellites) from the views drop down menu (the leftmost drop down menu underneath the "Moons" title).
Then select the entry for the satellite you wish to obtain more information for.
Each entry has the following information split into three tabs:
Orbital data:
Semi-major Axis (distance from center of primary)
Period (time it takes to complete one orbit)
E (Eccentricity, represents shape of the orbit)
I (Inclination, represents tilt of orbit with respect to the equator of the primary)
Physical data:
Diameter (size of the satellite)
Type (represents basic composition and size of body)
Notes (a short description of the satellite as well as other possibly useful data)
Discovery Data:
Discovery Year
Discoverer
Fields that I would like to add in the next update or two include albedo and density.

Navigate Navigate is a Palm OS program for computing the range and bearing between any two points on the Earth's surface OR the end location given a starting location, range and bearing.
It will compute these solutions for either lines of constant bearing (loxodromes or rhumb lines) or the shortest possible path on the Earth (geodesics or great circle routes)
Star Pilot Plus Star Pilot Plus is a bundle of MEW3's and our products designed for backyard astronomers. It includes the following:
Star Pilot - The most full featured program on the market for the Palm Computing Platform. Star Pilot has a database of almost 1500 stars and 88 constellations as well as the ability to plot the position of planets, the sun, and the moon in the sky
TTMobil TTMobil - A program to show your special table data - time table or any other event table - on your Pilot. Includes a perl script for converting data to pdb-files.

PalmDSC PalmDSC is a free program that will let a PalmOS handheld interface with a telescope DSC encoder system.
It has databases for the Messier objects, the entire NGC/IC catalog, the planets, etc.
PalmDSC is robust and easy to use in the field. The C-language source code is also available
Sol System Sol System is a program designed to show the position and orbit for all the planets in the Sol system (Sol being the name of our star). This kind of display is sometimes called an orrery and is useful in seeing planetary alignment for various dates.
· Main screen displays as many planets as you wish at varying zoom levels
SiderealTime SiderealTime - Finally, an easy to use sidereal time clock/calculator for Palm OS. Astronomy made easy! Whether you're a professional astronomer, or just a casual observer with a star chart, knowing the sidereal time is important! With SiderealTime 1.0 and your PDA running Palm OS, just indicate your longitude and time zone and instantly find out the sidereal time
Planetarium Planetarium is an application for the Palm Connected Organizer that plots star charts and offers some unique, useful features for the beginning star gazer as well as for the professional astronomer

Star Pilot - The most full featured program on the market for the Palm Computing Platform
LookAngles LookAngles is a PalmOS application designed to help you locate geostationary satellites in the sky. If you know the latitude and longitude of your location it can be used from anywhere in the world. Within the United States you need only know the name of your location or a valid Zip Code
Planets Planets is an educational document with which you can start to learn about the physical characteristics of the different planets in our solar system.
The program includes 3D models with realistic textures based on the surfaces of the planets, and a wide variety of information such as: distance from the sun, diameter, mass, atmospheric composition, surface matter and more
