Sleuth is the simplest of simple applications. It was written entirely for my own purposes, but you might find it handy of you are a Tungsten|T owner.
Sleuth allows you to access the "Find" command via the standard command bar - this is particularly handy if you mostly use the T|T in its closed position. This being the case you'll likely use something like GraffitiAnywhere - so once you install Sleuth you'll be able to do those Finds without opening the slider.
There might be other apps around that do the same thing, but a 30 second search came up blank so I spent a few minutes and wrote my own.

Hard Button Extender (HBX) Hard Button Extender (HBX) - With RNS:: HBX you can launch over 16 applications with only 4 hard buttons of your Palm.
Now pressing each hard button pops up a window giving you a choice to launch one of 4 previously selected applications
AutoOffExtender AutoOffExtender - AutoOff is when your device shuts itself off automatically after a specified period of user-inactivity, in order to conserve battery power.
AutoOffExtender can detect when your device is powered on after being off for less than a few seconds, and extend the auto-off time for that session, assuming you need more time to watch the screen with no action
Invisible Invisible hides icons from the Palm application launcher. Un-welcome applications (e.g. Welcome) or applications already mapped to a button (e.g. To Do List) can be hidden. To clean up your Palm launcher, please download and try it.
Note Invisible works with the built-in launcher only. Third party launchers are not supported

One way to use Clip PRO is to assign a hard button to it
Clip PRO Desktop Component Clip PRO Desktop Component - The Clip PRO Desktop Component (CDC) allows you to exchange clipboard information between your PC and your handheld device. The CDC operates as a standard Palm conduit, and also as a Windows System Tray item. The conduit handles the trasfer of data between PC and handheld, whilst the System Tray item handles user interactions
AppStats AppStats allows you to track the usage of applications on Palm OS 5 handhelds. It works silently in the background - keeping track of how often, for how long and at what times applications are used. The resultant data can then be viewed on the device in simple to read pie charts, exported to the Memo Pad, or synchronized to a PC with the AppStats conduit
